The council assists the Board of Directors, discusses important issues and major matters related to the management of the corporation, and compiles them. Also, the council devises the strategy for chemical technologies with a keen eye on the future, and plans and manages executive forums and symposiums. Various activities concerning the planning and management of specific strategic projects and other projects through coordination among industry, academia and government are promoted in consultation with the Strategy Committee and Frontier Coordination Committee and in coordination with these two committees.
